The Lead QA Engineer will lead the offshore QA function, ensuring compliance with Aon’s Global Cybersecurity (GCS) policies and the technical execution roadmap. They will define the QA strategy, architect validation models, and oversee integration testing across all remediation phases.

Core Responsibilities

QA Strategy & Governance Own the end‑to‑end validation framework, embedding compliance checkpoints into Agile sprints.

Discovery & Design Participation Map schema constraints, foreign keys, and validation rules into the Technical Design Document (TDD).

Algorithmic Test Design Architect verification models for de‑identification algorithms (HMAC‑SHA256, random overwrite, synthetic substitution).

Shift‑Left Integration Direct early regression loops to prevent downstream promotion blocks.





Cross‑System Integrity Oversight Coordinate validation with external ecosystems (OKTA, GWS, InRule).

Security & Risk Gatekeeping Enforce zero “Medium” or “High” vulnerabilities before workplace promotion.

Mentor junior testers and review QA deliverables for consistency and compliance.

Primary Skills

8+ years in QA/testing, with min 2+ years in a lead role.

Expertise in test automation (Python/Java), SQL, and ETL validation.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps integration.

Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks (HIPAA, GDPR).

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
