Core Responsibilities

API Development & Optimization Design, implement, and optimize RESTful and headless APIs using the Sling Model Exporter framework, servlets, and filters. Optimize performance via caching strategies and query optimization.

Content Modeling Handle JCR content modeling, utilize the Sling framework, and manage OSGi component development.

Security & Integration Implement authentication, authorization, and security for API endpoints.

Testing & QA Write comprehensive unit and integration tests for Sling Models, servlets, and API endpoints.

Documentation & Best Practices Document technical API specifications and integration guidelines while participating actively in code reviews.

Production Support Troubleshoot and resolve complex API-related issues in live production environments.





Job Requirements

Technical Skills

Core Technologies 6+ years of experience with AEM (6.5+ or AEM Cloud Service), Sling Framework, Java, OSGi, and JCR.

API & Headless Architecture Deep knowledge of headless CMS architectures, RESTful API design, JSON serialization, GraphQL APIs, and AEM Content Services.

Tools Mastery of Maven, Git, AEM Developer Tools, and Postman/API testing tools.

Preferred Qualifications Experience migrating traditional components to headless, working with Content Fragments, API versioning, microservices, CI/CD pipelines, and e-commerce integrations.
