About The Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in Kotlin, Java, Spring Boot, Angular, SQL, and RabbitMQ to build scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience developing production-grade backend services, designing microservices, and working across multiple client engagements.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Kotlin and Java (Spring Boot).
- Develop and enhance RESTful microservices following industry best practices.
- Build and maintain Angular (v12+) web applications.
- Design and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database transactions.
- Implement messaging solutions using RabbitMQ.
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architecture decisions.
- Work independently across multiple client projects while ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Support production deployments, including planned off-hours release windows aligned with US time zones.

Qualifications Experience

- 5–7 years of professional software development experience.
- Proven experience delivering applications into live production environments.

Backend Development

- Strong production experience with Kotlin.
- Excellent hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Strong understanding of:
- REST APIs
- Microservices Architecture
- Dependency Injection (DI)
- Spring Configuration & Profiles
- JPA/Hibernate
- JDBC

Database

- Robust SQL expertise, including:
- Complex query writing
- Stored Procedures
- Transactions
- Query optimization
- Execution plan analysis and performance tuning

Messaging

- Hands-on experience with RabbitMQ, including:
- Messaging patterns
- Exchanges and routing
- Message acknowledgements
- Dead-letter queues (DLQ)
- Retry mechanisms

Frontend

- Experience developing and maintaining Angular applications (v12+).
- Strong understanding of:
- Components
- Services
- RxJS
- Reactive Forms

Soft Skills

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently across multiple client engagements.
- Willingness to participate in planned off-hours production deployments supporting US time zones.
