Key Responsibilities

Snowflake Architecture & Performance Engineering

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale data solutions on Snowflake.

Optimize Snowflake architecture using clustering, micro-partitioning, caching strategies, and virtual warehouse management.

Monitor and tune SQL workloads to improve query performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.

Implement Snowflake best practices for secure data sharing, data access management, and workload optimization. Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake, DBT, SQL, and cloud-native services. Develop reusable, metadata-driven data processing frameworks to support enterprise data integration needs.

Automate ingestion, transformation, and delivery of data across multiple business domains. Ensure reliability, maintainability, and operational excellence of data pipelines. Design and implement dimensional data models using Star and Snowflake schemas.

Build scalable and effective analytical data structures that support reporting, dashboarding, and advanced analytics. Apply best practices in data warehousing, including Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD), surrogate keys, and fact/dimension modeling.





Collaborate with business teams to translate requirements into optimized data models. DBT Development & Transformation Develop and manage DBT projects Data models, Macros, Snapshots, Testing frameworks

Dependency management. Implement modular and reusable transformation logic following DBT best practices. Establish automated testing and deployment standards for DBT assets.

Ensure efficient movement of data into Snowflake while maintaining data quality and governance standards.

Cloud Engineering & Orchestration Develop cloud-native data solutions using AWS, Azure, or GCP services.

Work with cloud services such as Amazon S3, AWS Lambda, Azure Data Lake Storage

Implement workflow orchestration using Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect. Support scalable, automated, and resilient cloud data architectures. Data Quality, Governance & Security.Contribute to source control, release management, and deployment automation practices. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for DBT, Snowflake, and cloud data platforms.

Leverage

Git-based workflows to support collaborative development and code quality standards.

Promote

Infrastructure-as-Code and automation best practices where applicable.
