About the Opportunity

This opportunity is for experienced QA Engineers, SDETs, and Test Engineers with expertise in software testing, quality assurance, test case design, automation testing, regression testing, and bug tracking to contribute to advanced AI training and evaluation projects.

You'll apply your testing expertise to evaluate technical outputs, identify defects, design realistic testing scenarios, and develop structured evaluation frameworks that help improve the quality, reliability, and accuracy of AI-generated technical solutions.

Responsibilities

- Design and execute functional, regression, integration, and edge-case test scenarios.
- Perform manual and automated testing and document results using clear, reproducible steps.
- Identify, reproduce, document, and track software bugs and defects.
- Evaluate AI-generated technical outputs against defined quality standards and evaluation rubrics.
- Provide detailed written feedback, annotations, and technical assessments to improve output quality.
- Develop realistic QA and software testing scenarios based on real-world engineering workflows.
- Assess test results for accuracy, reliability, completeness, and consistency.
- Collaborate with project teams to refine testing methodologies, evaluation guidelines, and quality standards.
- Maintain a high standard of technical accuracy, documentation, and attention to detail.

Required Qualifications

- Proven professional experience as a QA Engineer, SDET, Test Engineer, or similar role.




- Strong understanding of software testing and quality assurance principles.
- Hands-on experience with test case design, regression testing, manual testing, automated testing, and bug tracking.
- Experience using bug tracking and test management tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to identify subtle defects and provide clear, actionable technical feedback.
- Ability to work independently and consistently follow detailed testing and evaluation guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience developing or maintaining automated testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with CI/CD testing workflows and modern software development practices.
- Experience with API, integration, performance, or end-to-end testing.
- Experience working with large-scale or complex software systems.
- Previous exposure to AI evaluation, technical data annotation, or model testing.
- Experience creating QA documentation, testing standards, evaluation rubrics, or quality frameworks.
- Strong background collaborating with engineering, product, and cross-functional teams.

Compensation

- Competitive compensation of $60–$112/hour.
