? We’re Hiring: Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

? Location: Bengaluru – IISc Campus-Yeshwanthpur

? Experience: 3–7 Years

We are looking for a Senior/Junior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design and development of innovative medical devices from concept to production.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead mechanical design and development of medical device components and assemblies
- Develop 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, GD&T;, and technical specifications
- Drive DFM, material selection, prototyping, testing, and design verification/validation
- Perform tolerance stack-ups, stress analysis, and failure investigations
- Collaborate with Electronics, Firmware, QA/RA, and other cross-functional teams
- Support risk management, FMEA, vendor qualification, and regulatory documentation
- Drive continuous improvement of existing products and designs

What We’re Looking For

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 3–5+ years of relevant mechanical design experience,



preferably in medical devices or regulated products
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD tools
- Valuable knowledge of GD&T;, manufacturing processes, material selection, and DFM
- Familiarity with ISO 13485, ISO 14971, IEC 60601, and FDA requirements
- Experience in prototyping, testing, verification/validation, and risk management
- Strong problem-solving, communication, ownership, and collaboration skills
