About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Magento 2 Developer to build, optimize, and maintain scalable eCommerce platforms. The role involves backend development, API integrations, server performance optimization, production debugging, and collaboration with frontend, DevOps, mobile, and QA teams to deliver high-performance Magento solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain scalable eCommerce applications using Magento 2
- Build custom Magento 2 modules, extensions, and third-party integrations
- Develop and optimize REST APIs and GraphQL APIs
- Work with Hyvä, PWA Studio, and headless commerce architecture
- Troubleshoot and optimize Redis, Elasticsearch, Varnish, MySQL, and PHP-FPM
- Debug server latency, performance bottlenecks, and production issues
- Optimize Magento caching, indexing, and overall application performance
- Handle deployments, server configurations, and production stability
- Monitor and debug Nginx, Apache, PHP, MySQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, and Magento logs
- Collaborate with frontend, mobile, DevOps, and QA teams
- Follow Magento coding standards and best practices
- Perform code reviews and technical troubleshooting
- Optimize APIs and integrations for mobile and third-party systems

- Strong expertise in Magento 2 architecture
- Custom module and extension development
- Dependency Injection, Plugins, Observers, and Service Contracts
- REST API and GraphQL API development
- Payment gateway and shipping integrations
- Multi-store management
- Cron Jobs, Queue Consumers, Cache & Index Management

Frontend Skills

- Experience with Hyvä Themes and PWA Studio
- Good understanding of React.js and modern frontend workflows

Additional Skills

- Git version control
- CI/CD deployment workflow understanding
- Docker and cloud platform exposure is optional and considered an added advantage
- Strong debugging and analytical skills

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Ability to independently handle complex Magento projects
- Solid production debugging and problem-solving skills
- Experience with enterprise-scale Magento applications
- Ability to optimize performance for high-traffic websites
- Good communication and coordination skills

Good to Have

- Headless commerce experience
- Adobe Commerce Cloud knowledge
- RabbitMQ experience
- Experience with New Relic or server monitoring tools
- Understanding of scalable infrastructure architecture

Education

- B.Tech / MCA / BCA / Equivalent Degree in Computer Science or related field
