HIRING: Senior Hardware / Power Electronics Design Engineer – Hybrid Inverters & BESS

Experience: 5–8 Years

We are looking for a Senior Hardware Design Engineer with robust hands-on experience in high-power electronics to work on next-generation 50kW Hybrid Inverter & BESS solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and optimize bidirectional DC-DC, MPPT, and 3-phase DC-AC inverter power stages.
- Design SiC MOSFET/IGBT-based power circuits, gate drivers and protection circuits.
- Design magnetics – inductors, common-mode chokes and LCL filters.
- Develop precision voltage, current & temperature sensing circuits.
- Design auxiliary SMPS (24V/15V/5V/3.3V).
- Perform complete schematic design and PCB layout oversight using Altium/Cadence/Mentor.
- Ensure creepage, clearance, EMI/EMC and high-current PCB design requirements.
- Prototype bring-up, debugging and testing using oscilloscopes, power analyzers and electronic loads.
- Work with mechanical teams on thermal management and cooling solutions.




- Implement OVP, OCP, surge protection, reverse polarity and fuse coordination.

Must-Have Skills High-power electronics design up to 1500V DC / 100A+ AC

Power converters, PFC, DC/DC & DC/AC inverters

SiC MOSFET / IGBT selection and application

Gate drivers & switching circuits

EMI/EMC compliant hardware design

Microcontroller / Microprocessor / FPGA-based designs

LTSpice / PSpice

Component selection, derating & DFMEA

Hands-on prototype testing & debugging

Education

Bachelor’s / Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics or related field.

Experience Required

5–8 years of direct hands-on hardware design experience in:

Solar Inverters | BESS | Motor Drives | EV Fast Chargers | Heavy-Duty UPS

Must have successfully designed and released at least one commercial power converter rated 30kW+.
