About the Organisation: Tripare is a B2B AI-powered business travel platform helping companies manage corporate travel, bookings, expenses and the overall travel experience from one place. We are a growing product team, and we’re looking for engineers who like working close to the product and are comfortable taking a feature from requirement to production.

About the role: This is a hands-on senior engineering role with responsibility for technical execution and delivery leadership. Around 70% of your time will be spent as an individual contributor, writing code and solving technical problems. The remaining 30% will focus on code reviews, delivery planning, releases, priorities and removing blockers.

This is not a pure people-management role. You should enjoy staying close to the code while helping the team deliver reliably.

What you’ll be doing:

- Build and maintain product features across backend and frontend.
- Work primarily with Node.js, TypeScript and React.js.
- Design APIs and backend services and lead system-design and technical architecture decisions.
- Own key technical decisions across API authentication and authorization, database/schema design, asynchronous jobs and observability.
- Work with databases such as PostgreSQL and other supporting technologies.
- Take ownership of larger features and modules from planning through release.
- Lead delivery planning, break work into clear milestones and coordinate execution across the team.




- Own release readiness and coordinate dependable production releases with engineering and product stakeholders.
- Lead code reviews, uphold engineering standards and improve development practices across the team.
- Guide junior and mid-level developers when they need technical support.
- Break larger requirements into practical technical tasks with the team.
- Keep track of technical blockers and help the team resolve them.
- Work closely with product and business teams on requirements and priorities.
- Participate in hiring and onboarding as the engineering team grows.
- Step in and troubleshoot important production issues when required.

What we’re looking for:

- 4–7 years of strong hands-on development experience.
- Good experience with Node.js and backend development.
- Strong conceptual understanding of TypeScript.
- Good hands-on experience with React.js.
- Strong system-design skills, including scalability, reliability, service boundaries and technical trade-offs.
- Strong hands-on experience with API security, database and schema design, asynchronous processing and application observability.
- Experience working with PostgreSQL or similar databases.
- Solid hands-on experience building, deploying and operating production applications on AWS.
- Previous experience leading technical delivery, reviewing code and mentoring developers.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work directly with product/business stakeholders.
- Someone who can balance 70% hands-on IC execution with delivery leadership and release ownership.
