Your Role & Impact

As a technical leader, you will supervise electrical asset surveys, validate GIS mapping, and ensure the absolute accuracy of electrical network data. You will work closely with field survey, GIS, drone, and software teams to deliver precise data for substations, feeders, transformers, HT/LT networks, DTCs, RMUs, and other electrical distribution assets.

Key Responsibilities

- Survey Leadership: Lead and validate field, GPS, and drone-based surveys for electrical assets, verifying identification, location, connectivity, and classification of HT/LT and OH/UG networks.

- GIS & Network Validation: Technically validate GIS layers, GDB data, asset connectivity, network topology, and feeder segregation to ensure full compliance with approved project data models.

- Quality Control: Perform rigorous technical checks on electrical network data, Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), and connectivity diagrams prior to client submission.

- Team Supervision: Guide field survey teams,



mentor junior engineers, resolve field-level technical issues, and assign daily activities to ensure project schedules are met.

- Client Coordination: Collaborate directly with MSEDCL/utility client representatives for technical discussions, network validation sessions, and requirement gathering.

- Project Tracking: Monitor project progress, prepare daily/weekly technical reports, and manage data gaps and corrective actions.

What We Are Looking For

- Must have 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in electrical engineering, utility surveys, GIS mapping, or distribution projects (experience with DISCOM/utility organizations is highly preferred).

- Solid practical knowledge of HT/LT electrical distribution systems, substations, transformers, and electrical network topology.

- Proficiency in reading and interpreting Single Line Diagrams (SLD), electrical drawings, and symbols (AutoCAD knowledge is a plus).

- Hands-on experience with ArcGIS/QGIS, Geodatabase (GDB) data models, and integrating GPS/drone survey data.

- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data validation).

- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and team coordination skills, with a willingness to travel to project locations across Maharashtra.
