Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Writer with 8+ years of expertise to own and elevate our technical documentation lifecycle. In this role, you will transform complex technical workflows into explicit, user-friendly, and compliant documentation for medical devices, software, and hardware products. This position requires a master-level communicator who can collaborate closely with Cross-Functional Teams (CFT), Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and Human Factors engineering to deliver high-quality, structured content aligned with international regulatory standards.

Core Responsibilities

End-to-End Content Creation Author, edit, and maintain a diverse suite of high-quality technical documents, including Instructions for Use (IFU), User Guides, Service Manuals, Installation Guides, Release Notes, and Quick Reference Guides (QRG).

Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner directly with Engineering, Product Management, and Human Factors (HF) teams to extract complex technical requirements and validate documentation accuracy through hands-on testing or reviews.





DDLC & Localization Management Own the end-to-end Document Development Life Cycle (DDLC), orchestrating multilingual localization pipelines and publishing across digital and print formats (PDF, HTML).

Standards & Compliance Governance Enforce strict adherence to the Microsoft Style Guide and ensure all deliverables satisfy stringent regulatory compliance standards required for medical and hardware products.

Job Requirements

Technical Skills

8+ years of dedicated technical writing experience within regulated medical device, software, or hardware engineering domains.

Expert-level command of Component Content Management Systems (CCMS) and professional authoring suites Adobe FrameMaker, MadCap Flare, RoboHelp, or Arbortext Editor.

Proficiency in graphics and media toolsets, including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Snagit, and Camtasia for creating visual workflows and video documentation.

Deep mastery of structured writing principles and seamless alignment with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and DDLC frameworks.
