Role Description The Engineering Technical Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for leading the design, development, and delivery of core components of FlyNava’s AI-driven pricing and revenue intelligence platforms. This role oversees technical architecture, reviews code, and ensures engineering best practices are followed across projects.

The Engineering Technical

Lead collaborates with product, data science, and business teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions, while guiding engineers through complex technical decisions and performance optimization. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and prioritizing engineering tasks, mentoring team members, managing technical risks, and driving automation and reliability across systems. The role also contributes to continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and standards to support high-quality,



timely releases.

Qualifications

- Robust Software Development and Programming skills in modern languages and frameworks, with experience building scalable, high-performance systems.
- Demonstrated Engineering Management and Project Management capabilities, including leading cross-functional teams and managing delivery timelines.
- Hands-on experience with Automation, CI/CD pipelines, and engineering tools that improve reliability, testing coverage, and deployment efficiency.
- Proficiency in system design, distributed architectures, APIs, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Ability to work closely with product and data science teams, translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills, with a track record of developing engineering talent.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in aviation, pricing, revenue management, or data-intensive enterprise products is an advantage.

Required Qualifications · Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

· 3–5+ years of software development experience,



with at least 2–3 years in a technical leadership role.

· Strong programming experience in one or more languages such as Java, Python,JavaScript/ReactJs.

· Experience designing scalable, distributed, and cloud-native applications.

· Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

· Strong understanding of microservices architecture, REST APIs, databases (SQL and NoSQL), and system design.

· Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.

· Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

· Excellent problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience leading geographically distributed engineering teams.

· Knowledge of AI/ML, data engineering, or modern software architecture patterns.

· Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation) is an advantage.

· Relevant cloud or technology certifications are preferred.
