Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Oracle PL/SQL Developer to maintain and enhance our core Oracle systems. Responsibilities
- Database Development Design, build, and maintain robust Oracle PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
- Performance Tuning Troubleshoot slow-running queries, optimize indexing strategies, design table partitioning, and analyze execution plans.
- Troubleshooting Address production issues related to the database.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with backend developers, QA engineers, and business analysts to deliver database changes safely and securely.
- Documentation Write clean technical documentation,
automated deployment scripts, and standard operating procedures for database rollouts.
Mandatory Skills
- Oracle PL/SQL Solid hands-on experience in Oracle Database and advanced PL/SQL development.
- Core Database Design Mastery of complex SQL syntax, relational database design, data modeling, and normalization principles.
- Analytical Skills Strong analytical skills with a methodical approach to debugging and testing database logic.
- Optimization Tooling Experience using execution plans and diagnostic tools (like EXPLAIN and EXPLAIN ANALYZE) to identify and fix performance bottlenecks.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with modern database engines and migration strategies.
- Familiarity with cloud database services.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
