Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Software Testing Engineer with extensive experience in software quality assurance and a strong focus on Playwright. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our software applications through rigorous testing methodologies and automation frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand application functionality and create comprehensive test plans.
- Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools, ensuring timely resolution.
- Perform regression, performance, and load testing to validate application stability and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality aspects.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Mentor junior testers and provide guidance on best practices in software testing.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong expertise in Playwright for automated testing.
- Proficient in JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced workplace.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- Experience in performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and participation in Agile ceremonies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
