Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced ETL Testing Consultant to join our Data & Analytics Practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in ETL Testing and will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of data within our Data Warehouse (DWH) systems. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a solid understanding of data validation and testing methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute ETL test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate data integrity and accuracy.
- Collaborate with data engineers and business analysts to understand data requirements and ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
- Utilize testing frameworks such as TestNG and Cucumber to automate test cases and improve testing efficiency.
- Perform data validation and reconciliation between source systems and the data warehouse.
- Identify, document, and track defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on ETL processes and testing strategies.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Data & Analytics Practice.
Mandatory Skills
- Robust expertise in ETL Testing.
- Proficient in Data-DWH Testing methodologies.
- Experience with TestNG, Cucumber, Java, Selenium, and Maven.
- Solid understanding of data testing and validation processes.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in data analytics and reporting tools.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of SQL and database management systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in ETL Testing and Data Validation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
