Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Software Testing Engineer with a strong background in Python to join our energetic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software testing methodologies and a proven track record of ensuring high-quality software delivery. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test plans, as well as identifying and documenting defects.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on software requirements.
- Utilize Python to automate testing processes and improve testing efficiency.
- Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand software features and provide feedback on usability and functionality.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of testing practices.
- Provide detailed reports on testing progress,
results, and issues to stakeholders.
- Mentor junior testers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong proficiency in Python programming.
- Extensive experience in software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on Python.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
