We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Customer Communications Management (CCM) Developer specializing in the SmartCommunications (SmartComm / Thunderhead) platform. Architecture & Template Development Design and build complex, reusable, and dynamic document templates utilizing the SmartComm Advanced Template Designer (ATD) and Web Editor.

Data Modeling & Mapping Create and maintain robust data schemas (XML, XSD, JSON) using the Data Modeler to accurately map enterprise data objects to template elements.

Interactive Communications Configure interactive template logic using Draft Editor, Data Capture, and iPDF tools to empower business users with controlled editing capabilities.

System Integration Integrate the SmartComm platform with upstream and downstream enterprise systems (CRMs, Guidewire, Duck Creek, Core Banking, or ERPs) utilizing Thunderhead/SmartComm APIs and web services.

Legacy Migration Lead and support migration initiatives from legacy CCM tools (e.g., OpenText Exstream, Quadient Inspire, or Adobe Story Teller) over to the cloud-native SmartComm Conversation Cloud platform.

Batch & Post-Processing Design and maintain scriptable Batch Configurations, Template Selectors,



and Output Configurations for high-volume enterprise document distribution.

Environment & Change Management Manage the deployment and orchestration of SmartComm Appliances across Cloud and Hybrid environments. Oversee version control and the migration of shared assets between DEV, UAT, and PROD.

Technical Leadership Provide technical mentorship to junior developers, conduct code/template reviews, enforce best practices (naming conventions, asset reuse), and lead troubleshooting/root-cause analysis for production issues.

Experience 6 to 8 years of dedicated experience in Customer Communications Management (CCM), with at least 4+ years of hands-on expertise in the SmartCommunications (Thunderhead) platform.

Core Modules Mastery of SmartComm components Data Modeler, Advanced Template Designer (ATD), Web Editor, Draft Editor, and Style Sets.

Data Standards High proficiency in handling XML/XSD, JSON, and XPath/XSLT for sophisticated conditional data logic.

Integration Ecosystem Robust working knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs and utilizing SmartComm APIs for system hooks.

Methodology Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
