Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Tester with extensive experience in mobile automation testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our mobile applications through rigorous testing methodologies. You will work closely with development teams to identify issues and improve the overall user experience.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for mobile applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
- Perform regression testing and ensure that recent features do not adversely affect existing functionality.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
- Mentor junior testers and provide guidance on best practices in mobile automation testing.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong expertise in mobile automation testing frameworks (e.g., Appium, Selenium, etc.).
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
- Solid understanding of mobile application development and testing lifecycle.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with performance testing tools.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of API testing and tools like Postman or SoapUI.
- Experience in testing across multiple mobile platforms (iOS, Android).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on mobile automation.
- Relevant certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.
