Bristlecone India Limited is seeking a seasoned SAP ABAP professional to join its S4 HANA Technical – Delivery team.

The Senior

Consultant will be responsible for end‑to‑end ABAP development, enhancements, interface creation, debugging, and production support across multiple S/4HANA implementations. You will work closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions while ensuring high performance and code quality.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and enhance ABAP objects (reports, interfaces, BAPIs, enhancements, forms) in S/4HANA.
- Perform code reviews and enforce SAP coding standards.
- Debug and resolve issues in development and production environments.
- Provide production support and conduct root‑cause analysis.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain data migration and integration interfaces (IDocs, RFC, OData).
- Optimize performance of ABAP programs and conduct tuning activities.
- Lead technical design workshops and mentor junior developers.
- Participate in testing activities including unit, integration, and UAT.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications

- 7+ years of SAP ABAP experience, preferably on S/4HANA.
- Strong expertise in ABAP OO, BAPI, BADI, enhancements, ALE/IDocs, RFC, and OData.
- Hands‑on experience with SAP NetWeaver, Eclipse ADT, Web Dynpro; SAPUI5 knowledge is a plus.
- Proficiency in debugging, performance tuning, and production support.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA migration (Brownfield/Greenfield) projects.
- Valuable understanding of SAP modules (FI, MM, SD) and related business processes.




- Ability to work independently and in cross‑functional teams.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
- Willingness to travel onsite as required.
