Bristlecone India Limited is seeking a seasoned Senior Consultant for its S4 HANA Technical – Delivery team. The role focuses on end‑to‑end ABAP OOPS development, enhancements, interface creation, debugging, and production support for S/4HANA environments. You will collaborate closely with functional consultants and lead technical initiatives that ensure high‑quality, scalable solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and optimize ABAP OOPS objects for S/4HANA modules.
- Implement enhancements, BADI, user‑exits, and custom reports.
- Build and maintain interfaces using IDocs, BAPIs, and OData services.
- Perform debugging, performance tuning, and code reviews.
- Provide 24/7 production support and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Lead code migration and upgrade activities to S/4HANA.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct knowledge‑transfer sessions.
- Contribute to technical documentation and release notes.

Qualifications

- 8+ years of SAP ABAP development experience, with at least 3 years in OOPS.
- Strong expertise in S/4HANA ABAP stack and related technologies.
- Proficiency in ABAP enhancements, BADI, user‑exits, and ALV reporting.
- Hands‑on experience with IDoc, BAPI, RFC, and OData services.
- Solid debugging and performance tuning skills.
- Experience in production support and incident management.
- Knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, SAP Gateway, and SAP Fiori basics.
- Excellent problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.




- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
