Bristlecone India Limited is seeking a seasoned Senior Consultant for its S4 HANA Technical - Delivery team. The role focuses on end‑to‑end ABAP OOPs development, delivering robust enhancements, seamless interfaces, and proactive production support while collaborating closely with functional teams to ensure high‑quality SAP solutions.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain ABAP OOPs objects and programs in the S/4 HANA workplace.
- Implement enhancements, BADI, user‑exits, and custom reports.
- Build and support interfaces using IDocs, BAPIs, RFC, and OData services.
- Perform debugging, root‑cause analysis, and issue resolution for production incidents.
- Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and adhere to best practices.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
- Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and S/4 HANA conversion projects.
- Create technical documentation, functional specifications, and test cases.
- Ensure compliance with Bristlecone’s delivery standards and SAP security guidelines.

Qualifications

- 7+ years of hands‑on SAP ABAP development experience, preferably in S/4 HANA.
- Strong expertise in ABAP OOPs, classes, interfaces, and enhancements.
- Proficiency in developing and troubleshooting IDocs, BAPIs, RFC, and OData services.
- Experience with debugging, performance tuning, and production support.
- Good understanding of SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD) and integration points.
- Knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, Eclipse/ABAP Development Tools, and SAP Cloud Platform.
- Ability to work in Agile delivery models and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving,



and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field; SAP certification is a plus.
- Willingness to travel onsite for client engagements as required.
