Bristlecone India Limited seeks a seasoned Senior Consultant specializing in SAP ABAP Gateway and OData services. The role involves architecting, developing, and maintaining high‑performance ABAP applications, integrating them with S/4HANA landscapes, and providing end‑to‑end production support for critical business processes.

Responsibilities

- Design and develop OData services using SAP ABAP Gateway to meet functional requirements.
- Enhance existing ABAP programs, reports, and interfaces for performance and scalability.
- Perform debugging, root‑cause analysis, and resolution of production incidents.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Implement best practices for code quality, documentation, and version control.
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing.
- Provide 24/7 production support and on‑call rotation for critical SAP environments.
- Mentor junior developers and lead code review sessions.
- Participate in S/4HANA migration and upgrade projects, ensuring seamless ABAP compatibility.
- Stay current with SAP roadmap, OData standards, and emerging technologies.

Qualifications

- 10+ years of hands‑on SAP ABAP development experience.
- Deep expertise in SAP ABAP Gateway, OData services, and related SAP NetWeaver components.
- Proven track record of delivering enhancements, interfaces, and production support in S/4HANA environments.
- Strong debugging and performance tuning skills.
- Experience with SAP Fiori, UI5, and front‑end integration is a plus.
- Knowledge of SAP best practices, ALM tools, and transport management.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.




- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- SAP certification (e.g., ABAP Development, OData Services) preferred.
