About the Role

The Senior Compliance Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the bank’s policies, procedures, and operations adhere to regulatory and ethical standards. As a leading financial institution, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of compliance and regulatory relationships. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in compliance and regulatory affairs, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for ensuring the bank's adherence to all applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with regulatory bodies and authorities.
- Monitor and analyze regulatory developments and advise the bank on potential impacts.
- Conduct regular compliance audits and reviews to ensure adherence to all relevant laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance and support to business units on compliance matters.
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports and filings in a timely manner.




- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

Secondary Responsibilities

- Assist in the development and implementation of compliance training programs for employees.
- Conduct investigations and respond to regulatory inquiries and audits.
- Identify and mitigate potential compliance risks.

What We Are Looking For

Education

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Post Graduation degree in MBA

Experience

- Minimum of8+ yearsof experience in compliance, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.

Skills and Attributes

- Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including but not limited to RBI guidelines, SEBI regulations, and FEMA regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team workplace.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software.
- Professional certifications in compliance or regulatory affairs are a plus.
