Role Description The Senior Billing Engineer will oversee and manage project billing activities, ensuring accurate measurement, documentation, and certification of quantities and costs for construction projects.

Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), conducting rate analysis, coordinating with quantity surveyors, and validating contractor bills against project progress. The role requires close collaboration with project managers, site engineers, and finance teams to maintain alignment between technical execution and commercial outcomes.

The Senior Billing

Engineer will also support cost control, identify billing discrepancies,



and implement process improvements to enhance billing efficiency and compliance. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Sanand.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in BOQ preparation and management, with the ability to interpret drawings and specifications accurately.
- Proficiency in billing systems and processes, including verification of contractor bills and coordination with finance for timely payments.
- Solid rate analysis skills for evaluating and benchmarking construction costs, materials, and labor.
- Hands-on experience in quantity surveying, including on-site measurement, reconciliation, and documentation of quantities.
- Well-developed analytical skills to interpret project data, identify variances, and support cost-control decisions.
- Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field, with prior experience in billing roles in construction or infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with relevant construction codes, standards, and contract conditions (e.g., item rate contracts, EPC, or similar).
- Proficiency with MS Excel and project-related software; experience with digital tools for measurement and billing is an advantage.

- Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and documentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on-site.
