Senior Backend Developer .NET Core

Location: Bengaluru / Pune

Work Model: Work From Office (WFO)-Hybrid

Contract Duration: 1 Year

Start Date: Immediate-15 days

Working Hours: EMEA Time Zone approximately 5 6 hours of overlap with EMEA business hours

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer with strong hands-on experience in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, Entity Framework Core, NUnit, SQL, Microservices, Docker, and Git.

The ideal candidate will have strong backend development experience and will work within an existing microservices framework. The role requires someone who can develop and maintain backend services, write and enhance unit tests, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to high-quality software delivery.

Required Skills

- 5+ years of software engineering experience with any .NET version
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with C# and .NET Core
- Strong experience developing REST APIs using ASP.NET Core
- Hands-on experience with Entity Framework Core
- Solid experience with NUnit
- Experience writing and enhancing unit tests
- Ability to maintain a minimum of 70% test coverage
- Strong SQL knowledge
- Understanding of Microservices Architecture
- Hands-on experience/basic knowledge of Containers
- Experience with Docker / Docker Compose
- Hands-on experience with Git

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend applications using C# and .NET Core
- Build and support REST APIs using ASP.NET Core
- Work with Entity Framework Core for data access
- Write, maintain,



and enhance NUnit unit tests
- Maintain required code and test quality standards, including 70% minimum test coverage
- Work within an existing microservices architecture
- Troubleshoot and resolve backend application issues
- Work with SQL databases and optimize queries where required
- Use Docker/Docker Compose for containerized application development and execution
- Collaborate with development teams using Git and established development workflows
- Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and software delivery activities
