Role Description

We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant or Cost and Management Accountant to join our team as a Senior Analyst – US Audit & Accounting.

The successful candidate will work with the team on the day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, and audit support requirements of US-based entities. The role requires sound technical knowledge, strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and the confidence to communicate effectively with overseas clients and internal team members.

Key Responsibilities

- Work with and guide the team in managing the day-to-day accounting activities of US-based entities.
- Record and review routine accounting transactions, including revenue, expenses, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, fixed assets, accruals, and prepayments.
- Prepare and review journal entries, bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Monitor accounting records and ensure transactions are recorded accurately, completely, and within the required timelines.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including necessary adjustments and ledger scrutiny.
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
- Perform audit and assurance support procedures, including substantive testing, analytical reviews, and preparation of audit workpapers.




- Analyze financial data and investigate unusual trends, variances, and discrepancies.
- Assist in preparing financial statement disclosures and other supporting documentation.
- Coordinate directly with clients to obtain information, discuss accounting matters, and resolve queries.
- Review work performed by junior team members and provide appropriate guidance and feedback.
- Identify and implement improvements in accounting, reporting, and audit-support processes.
- Manage multiple client assignments and ensure timely completion of deliverables.

Mandatory Qualifications and Skills

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost and Management Accountant (CMA).
- Minimum two years of relevant post-qualification experience in accounting, audit, assurance, or financial reporting.
- Working knowledge of US GAAP and its practical application.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, audit procedures, and financial statements.
- Fluency in spoken and written English, with the ability to communicate confidently and professionally with overseas clients.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, reviewing, and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to supervise and guide team members while taking ownership of assigned client engagements.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet reporting deadlines.
- Willingness to undertake diverse and multidisciplinary professional assignments, as required.

Preferred Experience
- Experience in handling the day-to-day accounting of US-based entities.
- Experience supporting US audit or assurance engagements.
- Familiarity with US accounting software, ERP systems, and audit documentation tools.
- Experience in preparing financial statements and related disclosures under US GAAP.

Compensation
- Salary: ₹7.5 Lakhs to ₹9 Lakhs per annum, based on the candidate’s qualifications, relevant experience, technical knowledge, and interview performance.
