Australian Accountant / Senior AccountantLocation: India – Supporting Australian Clients

Reporting To: Accounting Manager / Team Leader

Key Responsibilities

- Handle bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, AP/AR and financial reporting.
- Prepare and review BAS, GST, PAYG and payroll.
- Process payroll, superannuation and STP reporting.
- Assist with Australian individual, company and trust tax returns.
- Prepare workpapers, financial reports and tax schedules.
- Review transactions and resolve discrepancies.
- Communicate with Australian clients and manage deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with ATO and Australian accounting requirements.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably with Australian clients.
- Good knowledge of Australian accounting, GST, BAS, payroll and taxation.
- Xero and Excel experience essential.
- MYOB/XPM experience preferred.
- Robust attention to detail and communication skills.
