Role Description

This is a full-time Senior Accountant position based in office in Bengaluru.

The Senior

Accountant will oversee and manage accounting operations, including financial reporting, general ledger reconciliations, and compliance with financial and tax regulations.

Responsibilities include leading the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, supervising accounts payable/receivable processes,



ensuring internal controls are followed, and supporting audits and budget planning. The role also involves analyzing financial data to support strategic decisions and collaborating with various departments to ensure accurate financial management.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in financial reporting, budget preparation, and financial analysis
- Expertise in managing general ledger tasks and overseeing accounts payable/receivable
- Comprehensive understanding of accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements
- Strong skills in financial software and accounting tools; advanced experience in MS Excel is a plus
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and leadership skills to interact effectively with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, CA, or equivalent certification is preferred
- Proven experience in senior-level accounting roles; prior experience in the technology or consulting industry is a plus
