Role Description The Senior Accountant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The individual in this role will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and maintenance of accurate financial records.

Responsibilities include preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, and monitoring cash flow and expense tracking.

The Senior

Accountant will ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies, and will coordinate with internal teams, auditors,



and external partners as needed. This role also involves analyzing financial data to provide insights to management, assisting with process improvements, and supporting strategic decision-making in a fast-paced media and IT environment.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in financial accounting, general ledger management, and preparation of financial statements.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting for management.
- Proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash flow management.
- Knowledge of relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements in India.
- Ability to work with accounting and ERP software; advanced skills in spreadsheets and data analysis tools.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills in a deadline-driven environment.
- Robust communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional teams and external auditors.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications such as CA, CMA, or equivalent are an advantage.
- Prior experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar role, preferably in media, advertising, entertainment, or IT-driven businesses.
