Role Summary

We are looking for a Senior 5G NR L2 MAC/Scheduler Engineer to contribute to the design, development, integration, and maintenance of Layer-2 MAC/Scheduler functionalities in 5G NR DU software.

The role requires close collaboration with L1, L2, RLC, and system teams throughout the development lifecycle. Strong ownership, problem-solving skills, code review experience, and the ability to mentor junior engineers while delivering high-quality, production-ready software are expected.

Key Skills

- Experience working on key MAC scheduling components, including DL/UL scheduling, HARQ handling, RACH procedures, resource allocation, and SFN/slot-based operations,
- Deep understanding of 3GPP specifications and product requirements.
- Candidates should have strong hands-on experience in C/C++ development for embedded or telecom systems.




- Valuable knowledge of software design, debugging, performance analysis, memory management, multithreading, and concurrency handling.
- Experience in developing, enhancing, and maintaining production-quality software is essential.
- Experience with Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN), including MAC/Scheduler development and optimization for high-RTT scenarios, is highly preferred.
- Experience includes familiarity with MAC-PHY interactions (FAPI or similar interfaces), PDSCH/PUSCH procedures, scheduler feature development, KPI analysis, and performance optimization of 5G NR systems.
- Strong ownership, problem-solving skills, code review experience, and the ability to mentor junior engineers while delivering high-quality, production-ready software are expected.
