Role Description The Senior Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations. This role will prepare financial statements, monthly and annual closing reports, and support budgeting and forecasting activities.

The Senior

Accountant will monitor compliance with applicable accounting standards and local tax regulations, oversee payroll processing, and assist with internal and external audits.



The role also includes analyzing financial data to support management decisions, improving internal controls, and collaborating with other departments to ensure accurate financial documentation. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Abroad.

Qualifications

- Solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business decisions.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.
- Understanding of local tax laws, compliance requirements, and audit procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, CPA) are a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Prior experience in a senior accounting or similar role, preferably within professional services or consulting environments.
