Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with a robust background in software testing and automation. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with JavaScript. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through effective testing strategies and automation frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with JavaScript.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand application functionality and create comprehensive test plans.
- Execute test cases, report defects, and track them to closure.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality.
- Mentor junior team members in testing best practices and automation techniques.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver with JavaScript.
- Proven experience in software testing and automation frameworks.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with other testing tools and frameworks (e.g., JUnit, TestNG).
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins).
- Understanding of Agile methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation.
