Key Responsibilities:
- Own relevance or retrieval for systems relied upon by real users.
- Quantify impact and improvements in search performance using clear metrics.
- Design and implement agentic search architectures that adapt to user intent.
- Scale data infrastructure to support fast, reliable search at production scale.
- Make tradeoffs between latency, accuracy, and computational cost in search systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience shipping production search systems with measurable impact.
- Ability to evaluate search quality using quantitative methods.
- Familiarity with agentic systems and their integration with search pipelines.
- Knowledge of data infrastructure scaling for high-throughput search workloads.
- Experience designing relevance models or retrieval algorithms.
