Job Requirements

Role: SAS developer

Tier: Tier 2

- Minimum 7 years of total working experience with atleast 5 years work experience in SAS

programming languages in development and Maintenance engagement.
- Knowledge of SAS 9.4 is mandatory.
- Performing descriptive analysis and reporting function by extracting, cleaning, summarizing,

tabulating and formatting data using SAS programming.
- Use various SAS procedures like Proc Sort, Contents, Transpose, Print, Format, Export

Report, Summary, Tabulate, Datasets, Freq, Means, Gplot, etc. to maintain and enhance existing reporting applications.
- Creation of Stored processes, assigning SAS libraries, metadata setup and testing using SAS
- Develop and publish SAS Macros for encapsulating and reusing code components across

multiple applications.
- Data extraction and reporting (SAS, Excel VBA), Modification of existing Reports,





development of recent reports and testing using Base, Advanced SAS and SAS ODS.
- Integrating SAS environment with QlikView to generate reports and dashboard
- Design, Develop and Enhance existing Reporting Applications to meet current and future

business requirements.
- Using SAS Enterprise Guide build advanced querying, calculating computed columns, using

filter, sorting, manipulate and prepare data for Reporting, Graphs, and Summarization.
- Create SAS Macros to customize the Internal applications on need basis.
- Using SAS Macros and Advanced SAS programming techniques to optimize the existing the

SAS program to reduce the time and space.
