Role Description The SAP GTS Consultant will work on a contract basis in a remote capacity, supporting clients with global trade and customs processes within SAP GTS.

Responsibilities include analyzing business requirements, designing and configuring SAP GTS solutions, and aligning global trade processes with legal and corporate compliance standards. The role involves collaborating with business and IT stakeholders, managing master data, and ensuring smooth integration with SAP and non-SAP systems. Day-to-day tasks include system configuration, troubleshooting issues, documenting functional specifications,



supporting testing cycles, and providing end-user training and ongoing advisory support.

Qualifications

- Robust analytical skills to interpret business requirements, identify gaps, and propose effective SAP GTS solutions.
- Consulting experience in SAP environments, with a focus on advising stakeholders and translating needs into system designs.
- Hands-on expertise in business processes related to global trade, customs, compliance, and export/import operations within SAP GTS.
- Proficiency in managing master data relevant to trade compliance, customers, materials, and regulatory information.
- Experience with integration between SAP GTS and core SAP modules (such as ECC/S4HANA) or external systems.
- Relevant experience as an SAP GTS Consultant or functional analyst; SAP certification in GTS or related modules is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong communication skills, ability to collaborate in remote, cross-functional teams, and readiness to work across time zones as needed.
