Role Description

- Design, develop, and maintain applications and services on SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP).
- Build cloud-native solutions using the Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP).
- Develop enterprise applications with the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
- Create responsive and user-friendly interfaces using SAPUI5 and SAP Fiori.
- Analyze business processes and translate requirements into technical solution designs.
- Develop side-by-side extensions for SAP S/4HANA on SAP BTP.
- Implement in-app extensions within SAP S/4HANA environments.
- Ensure applications follow secure, scalable, and high-performance architecture principles.
- Collaborate with consultants, architects, developers, and business stakeholders on project delivery.
- Support digital transformation initiatives across the SAP landscape.
- Troubleshoot application issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Monitor and optimize application performance, reliability, and usability.
- Integrate SAP and non-SAP systems using modern SAP BTP services and technologies.
- Contribute to solution design reviews, coding standards, and best practices.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and technology innovation projects.
- Document technical designs, development processes, and solution architectures.
- Stay updated with emerging SAP technologies and recommend improvements where applicable.




- Support testing, deployment, and maintenance activities throughout the application lifecycle.

Qualifications

- Solid understanding of business process concepts and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Hands-on experience developing on SAP BTP using the Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) and the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
- Proficiency building responsive, user-centric applications with SAPUI5/Fiori Elements.
- Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks commonly used on SAP BTP (e.g., Java, JavaScript/Node.js, or related technologies).
- Experience with system and application integration, including APIs, REST services, OData (v2/v4), and event-based architectures.
- Knowledge of SAP products and platforms, such as SAP BTP services, SAP S/4HANA extensibility, SAP Cloud Integration, or related SAP solutions.
- Familiarity with cloud-native development practices, CI/CD pipelines, version control (e.g., Git), and DevOps concepts.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in cross-functional, hybrid teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; relevant certifications in SAP or cloud technologies are an advantage.
