About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP Developer with strong expertise in ABAP development on the SAP S/4HANA platform. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing, enhancing, and supporting SAP solutions and should also have good working knowledge of Claude Code / AI-assisted coding tools to improve development productivity and code quality.

The candidate will work closely with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver scalable and high-quality SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, enhance, maintain, and support SAP applications using ABAP on SAP S/4HANA.
- Design and develop custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, conversions, and workflows.
- Develop and optimize ABAP programs, CDS Views, AMDPs, and OData services where applicable.
- Work with SAP S/4HANA data models and develop solutions following S/4HANA best practices.
- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective SAP technical solutions.
- Perform debugging, performance tuning, root-cause analysis, and production issue resolution.
- Develop clean, reusable, and maintainable code following SAP coding standards.
- Work with APIs, integrations, and SAP interfaces as required.
- Collaborate with functional teams to understand requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Conduct unit testing, defect resolution, code reviews, and technical documentation.
- Participate in SAP implementation, enhancement, migration, and support projects.
- Leverage Claude Code and AI-assisted development tools for code generation, refactoring, debugging, documentation, test creation, and development productivity.




- Validate and review AI-generated code to ensure security, functionality, performance, and adherence to SAP development standards.
- Stay updated with developments in SAP S/4HANA, ABAP Cloud, Clean Core, and AI-assisted software development.

Required Skills & Experience
- 6+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
- Strong experience working on the SAP S/4HANA platform.
- Solid proficiency in ABAP programming and object-oriented ABAP.
- Experience with:
- Reports and interfaces
- Enhancements and BAdIs
- Forms
- Function modules and BAPIs
- ABAP Objects
- Debugging and performance optimization
- Good knowledge of S/4HANA development concepts and architecture.
- Experience with CDS Views, AMDP, and/or OData is preferred.
- Good understanding of SAP integration concepts and APIs.
- Good hands-on knowledge of Claude Code or comparable AI-assisted coding/development tools.
- Ability to effectively use AI coding assistants while independently reviewing and validating generated code.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with ABAP Cloud and RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model).
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori / UI5.
- Understanding of Clean Core principles.
- Experience with SAP BTP and cloud-based SAP development.
- Exposure to Git-based development and CI/CD practices.
- Experience using AI tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar developer assistants.
- Exposure to automated testing and modern software engineering practices.

Candidate Profile The ideal candidate is a strong SAP ABAP Developer who has hands-on experience with S/4HANA development and is comfortable adopting modern AI-assisted development practices. The candidate should be able to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with distributed teams. Location & Work Arrangement
