We're looking for a Salesforce Security Monitoring Engineer to design, implement, and continuously improve our Salesforce security posture. You'll own the architecture and monitoring layer that keeps our Salesforce org secure, compliant, and observable - working across Shield, Event Monitoring and Security Center to detect and respond to risk in real time.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-grade Salesforce security models aligned to evolving business and compliance requirements
- Architect and review existing and new security models, identifying gaps and recommending improvements
- Lead evaluation and proof-of-concept efforts for Salesforce Shield, Event Monitoring, and Security Center
- Build monitoring dashboards and reporting solutions that give stakeholders real-time visibility into security posture
- Design and implement automation and monitoring workflows to reduce manual security operations overhead
- Build integrations that support security signal collection from Salesforce and connected systems
- Develop monitoring-related data models and the technical components that support them
- Produce transparent technical documentation, architecture diagrams, implementation guides, and operational runbooks
Required Skills & Experience
- 6–8 years of Salesforce development/architecture experience, with a strong focus on security
- Proven experience implementing and reviewing Salesforce security models (profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, field-level security, etc.)
- Salesforce Shield / Event Monitoring experience strongly preferred
- Experience building dashboards/reporting for security or operational monitoring
- Experience designing automation workflows and integrations for signal collection
- Strong data modeling skills for monitoring/observability use cases
- Excellent technical documentation skills (architecture diagrams, implementation guides, runbooks)
Nice to Have
- Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer, Application Architect, Security Specialist)
- Experience with SIEM/SOC integrations or broader security operations tooling
- Background in compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, etc.)
