INTEGRATED PACK HOUSE- GOVINDPUR

Cold Chain Solution has taken over a modern cold storage and integrated cold chain infrastructure facility developed under the Department of Horticulture, Government of

Odisha, for the scientific storage and preservation of temperature-sensitive products. The facility is equipped with advanced temperature-controlled storage systems along with loading and unloading bays, pre-cooling facilities, ripening chambers, aggregation centres, fruit and vegetable sorting, grading, and handling infrastructure to ensure seamless operational efficiency.

The facility offers high-capacity cold storage along with integrated cold-chain logistics support for the transportation and handling of perishable commodities.



The infrastructure can be effectively utilised for storage, preservation, aggregation, and supply chain management of fruits, vegetables, dairy products, processed food items, medicines, vaccines, and other temperature-sensitive commodities handled by Farmer-Producer Organisations (FPOs), SHGs,

traders, processors, and rural entrepreneurs under various developmental initiatives.

Strategically located on NH-55 in the periphery of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, the facility ensures smooth connectivity and uninterrupted cold chain movement with 100% genset backup support and parking space accommodating more than 50 vehicles. Through this initiative, Cold Chain Solution aims to strengthen post-harvest management systems, minimise storage and transit losses, maintain quality preservation standards, and provide reliable cold chain and logistics support services as per organisational and operational requirements.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong agriculture background who can identify, develop, and bring cold chain infrastructure projects from the Agri and allied sectors. The candidate will be responsible for generating new projects, coordinating execution, and expanding our cold storage and temperature-controlled solutions business.

The ideal candidate should have strong connections with farmers, FPOs, Agri-entrepreneurs, government departments, food processors, and exporters.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify and generate new project opportunities for Cold Storage, Integrated Pack Houses, Ripening Chambers, and Reefer Logistics in the agriculture sector.
- Develop business opportunities with FPOs,



agri-cooperatives, exporters, food processing units, and farmer groups.
- Build and maintain strong zonal-level relationships with farmers, agri-members, institutions, and key stakeholders.
- Coordinate and liaision with government departments and relevant agencies for subsidy-based projects, approvals, and documentation.
- Conduct site visits, surveys, and preliminary feasibility assessments for proposed projects.
- Prepare and coordinate project proposals, quotations, and commercial discussions with clients.
- Negotiate commercial terms and support the team in successful project closure.
- Coordinate with technical teams, vendors, contractors, and clients for smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress to ensure timely completion within approved scope, quality, and budget.
- Track project documentation, timelines, deliverables, and client requirements.
- Provide post-installation support and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Achieve assigned project acquisition, sales, and revenue targets.

Required Qualification:

- B.Sc / M.Sc in Agriculture
- B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering
- MBA in Agri-Business Management

Experience Required:

2–5 years of experience in:

- Agri infrastructure projects
- Cold storage / Pack house / Food processing units
- Government subsidy projects

Key Skills:

- Strong field experience and network in the agriculture sector.
- Strong networking & relationship-building skills
- Knowledge of government schemes & agri subsidies
- Sales & negotiation skills
- Field-oriented and target-driven
- Self-driven and capable of bringing a minimum of 2–4 projects Monthly

Salary Structure

- 2 LPA – 4 LPA (Based on experience & project acquisition capability)
