Role Description The Salad Chef/Cook is a full time, on-site role based in Mangaluru, responsible for preparing a variety of salads and health-focused dishes according to standardized recipes and portion guidelines. Daily tasks include washing, cutting, and assembling fresh ingredients, managing food prep stations, and ensuring proper storage and rotation for all produce and supplies. The role involves maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness, as well as coordinating with the team to fulfill online orders quickly and accurately.

The Salad

Chef/Cook will also assist in menu execution,



support inventory checks, and contribute ideas to improve preparation efficiency and product quality.

Qualifications

- Foundational culinary skills, including basic knife work, salad preparation, and familiarity with cold kitchen operations.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and safe handling and storage of fresh ingredients.
- Ability to follow recipes, portion guidelines, and plating standards with consistency and attention to detail.
- Strong time-management and organizational skills to handle multiple orders in a fast-paced setting.
- Effective teamwork and communication skills to collaborate smoothly with kitchen and service staff.
- Interest in healthy, diet-conscious cooking and willingness to learn about nutrition and clean eating principles.
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen, café, or cloud kitchen is preferred but not mandatory.
- Availability for full-time, on-site work in Mangaluru, with flexibility for shifts, weekends, and peak demand hours.
