Role Description This is a full-time, in office Safety Officer role based in Mumbai.

The Safety

Officer is responsible for implementing and monitoring safety policies and procedures at project sites, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company standards. Daily tasks include conducting site inspections, identifying potential hazards, and recommending corrective actions to reduce risk. The role involves organizing safety briefings and toolbox talks, maintaining safety documentation, and supporting incident and accident investigations.

Officer collaborates with project managers, supervisors,



and workers to promote a safety-first culture and continuous improvement in health and safety practices.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations, particularly in construction and facade installation environments.
- Experience conducting safety audits, site inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
- Ability to develop and deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for diverse on-site teams.
- Proficiency in maintaining safety records, reports, permits, and compliance documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and guide on-site staff toward safe work practices.
- Relevant safety certifications or diplomas (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, Diploma in Industrial Safety, or equivalent) are preferred.
- Previous experience as a Safety Officer or similar role in construction, infrastructure, or facade solutions is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, manage multiple priorities, and respond promptly to safety-related issues.
