Role Description The RO Plant Operator is a full-time, on-site role based in Paravada, Vizag, responsible for the day-to-day operation of reverse osmosis systems and associated equipment. The role includes monitoring plant parameters, recording operating data, and ensuring that treated water quality meets specified standards and regulatory requirements. The operator will carry out routine checks, start-up and shutdown procedures, basic maintenance, and cleaning of RO membranes and filters to maintain optimal performance.

The position also involves coordinating with maintenance teams for repairs, handling chemicals safely, and responding to alarms or operational issues in a timely manner.



The RO Plant Operator will follow established safety protocols, participate in periodic inspections, and support continuous improvement initiatives in plant efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess 1 to 2 years experience and skills in plant operations and RO system operation, including monitoring, control, and basic troubleshooting.
- Candidates should possess skills in quality control, including sampling, testing key water parameters, and documenting compliance with quality standards.
- Candidates should possess skills in machine operation and equipment handling, ensuring safe and efficient use of RO and related treatment machinery.
- Candidates should possess skills in maintenance, including routine preventive maintenance, minor repairs, and coordination with service teams.
- Candidates should possess skills in secure material handling
- Relevant technical qualification such as ITI, diploma, or equivalent in mechanical, electrical, chemical, or environmental engineering is preferred.
- Prior experience in RO plant or water/wastewater treatment operations will be considered an advantage.
- Ability to follow safety procedures, read and interpret operating manuals, and maintain accurate logs and reports.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability in shift-based work, and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
