About Vplus Chemical

Vplus Chemical is a growing manufacturer of PVC stabilizers and specialty PVC additives, focused on developing high-performance, cost-effective solutions for various PVC applications including pipes, profiles, cables, foam boards, sheets, flooring, and other rigid and flexible PVC products.

We are looking for an experienced and technically robust R&D; Manager who can independently lead the development and improvement of PVC stabilizer formulations.

Key Responsibilities

- PVC Stabilizer Formulation Development

Develop and optimize Calcium-Zinc, Lead-based, Organotin and other PVC stabilizer systems.

Develop formulations based on customer requirements, processing conditions and target cost.

Improve thermal stability, initial colour, colour hold, processing stability, plate-out, fusion characteristics and long-term heat stability.

Evaluate and optimize synergistic combinations of stabilizers, co-stabilizers, lubricants and other additives.

- Raw Material & Additive Development

Evaluate new raw materials and alternative suppliers.

Identify cost-effective substitutes without compromising product performance.

Establish raw-material specifications and incoming QC requirements.

- Laboratory Testing & Evaluation

Maintain complete laboratory records,



formulation sheets and test reports.
- Application & Customer Support

Understand customer PVC formulations and processing conditions.

Conduct trials at customer locations when required.

Recommend appropriate stabilizer dosage and formulation adjustments.

Work closely with the Sales and Technical teams to convert customer trials into commercial products.

- Scale-Up & Production Transfer

Convert successful laboratory formulations into pilot and commercial-scale batches.

Establish manufacturing processes and critical process parameters.

Work closely with Production to ensure consistency between laboratory and commercial batches.

Troubleshoot batch-to-batch variations.

Develop SOPs for manufacturing of new stabilizer grades.

- Monitor product performance during scale-up.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in PVC stabilizer manufacturing or formulation development will be strongly preferred.

Experience with PVC pipes, profiles, foam boards, cables, sheets or other rigid PVC applications will be an advantage.
