Role Description The Relationship Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Perambalur. This position is responsible for sourcing and managing housing loan customers, building strong relationships with borrowers, and guiding them through the end-to-end loan process from prospecting to disbursement. The role includes explaining product features, assessing customer eligibility, collecting and verifying documentation, and coordinating with internal teams for credit evaluation and approval.

The Relationship

Manager will track portfolio performance, follow up on repayments, address customer queries and concerns, and ensure a high standard of service and compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines. The role also involves identifying market opportunities,



engaging with local partners or channels, and contributing to business growth in the affordable housing segment.

Qualifications

- Robust customer relationship management and client service skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain long-term borrower relationships.
- Sales and business development capabilities, including lead generation, field sourcing, negotiation, and achieving housing loan targets.
- Basic financial analysis and documentation skills, with the ability to understand loan eligibility, verify documents, and support credit assessment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including clear verbal and written communication in local language(s) and English.
- Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple cases, meet deadlines, and follow structured processes.
- Familiarity with digital tools and platforms for loan applications, customer onboarding, and reporting.
- Prior experience in housing finance, retail lending, or banking/financial services is preferred, especially in the affordable housing segment.
- Minimum educational qualification of a bachelor’s degree in any discipline; relevant certifications in finance or sales are an advantage.
- High level of integrity, adherence to compliance and regulatory norms, and willingness to work on-site in Perambalur and in the field as required.
