Role Description The Relationship Manager is a full-time, in office role based in Coimbatore, responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and bank branch staff to drive life insurance business. This role involves identifying customer needs, explaining appropriate life insurance solutions, and supporting customers through the end-to-end sales and policy servicing process.

The Relationship

Manager will regularly visit designated branches, conduct customer meetings, support branch teams through training and joint calls,



and ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities include achieving assigned sales and productivity targets, maintaining accurate records and reports, and providing timely follow-up and after-sales support to enhance customer satisfaction and retention. The role also requires close coordination with internal teams to resolve queries, improve service delivery, and contribute to branch-level business planning.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong customer relationship management, client servicing, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Candidates should possess sales, cross-selling, and business development skills, preferably in banking, financial services, or insurance.
- Candidates should possess communication, negotiation, and presentation skills for interacting with customers and branch personnel.
- Candidates should possess basic analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills to track performance and support decision-making.
- Candidates should possess collaboration and teamwork skills to work effectively with bank staff and internal company teams.
- Relevant experience in life insurance or financial products distribution through banks (bancassurance) is highly beneficial.
- A bachelor’s degree in any discipline, ideally in business, finance, commerce, or a related field, is preferred.
- Comfort with on-site work in Coimbatore, familiarity with local market dynamics, and proficiency in English and local language(s) are advantageous.
