Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Registered Pharmacist role based in Ahmedabad.

The Registered

Pharmacist will dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately, review prescriptions for potential interactions, and provide counseling to patients on dosage, side effects, and safe use of medications. The role involves maintaining proper inventory levels, checking expiry dates, and ensuring secure storage of medicines in accordance with regulatory standards. The pharmacist will manage documentation, billing, and records in line with local pharmacy regulations and company policies, including maintaining prescription files and daily registers.

Day-to-day responsibilities also include coordinating with physicians and healthcare providers, supporting basic health screenings,



ensuring cleanliness and safety in the pharmacy, and assisting customers with product selection while upholding ethical and professional standards.

Qualifications

- Valid pharmacy registration/license as per applicable state and national regulations, with eligibility to practice as a Registered Pharmacist in Ahmedabad.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (D.Pharm or B.Pharm) from a recognized institution; advanced pharmacy or clinical certifications are an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, dosage forms, drug interactions, contraindications, and standard treatment guidelines.
- Familiarity with pharmacy laws, prescription handling protocols, controlled substances management, and record-keeping requirements.
- Ability to use pharmacy management software, billing systems, and basic computer applications for inventory and documentation.
- Explicit, respectful communication skills for counseling patients and coordinating with healthcare professionals in a multicultural environment.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to accuracy in dispensing and documentation.
- Customer service orientation, integrity, and the ability to handle confidential health information responsibly.
- Willingness to work scheduled shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required by the pharmacy’s operating hours.
- Previous experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting is preferred but not mandatory for otherwise qualified candidates.
