Role Description The Quantity Surveyor will work on-site at Arto Precast Concrete’s facility in Bengaluru South in a full-time capacity. The role involves preparing and reviewing cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents for precast concrete projects, ensuring accuracy and alignment with design specifications and project requirements.

The Quantity

Surveyor will track and control project costs, monitor material usage, validate measurements, and assist in valuation of work done for client billing and contractor payments. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with engineering, production, and project management teams, analyzing drawings and specifications,



and maintaining clear records and reports for ongoing and completed projects. The role also requires supporting contract administration, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring adherence to relevant standards, timelines, and budgetary goals.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in quantity surveying, cost estimation, and preparation of bills of quantities for construction or precast concrete projects.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and construction contracts.
- Experience with measurement, valuation of work done, and preparation of progress and final payment certificates.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and relevant quantity surveying or construction management software (e.g., AutoCAD familiarity is an advantage).
- Knowledge of construction industry standards, contract terms, and basic legal and commercial aspects of projects.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with solid attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams, clients, and vendors on-site.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline; prior experience in precast or similar construction environments is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site full time in Bengaluru South, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines safely and responsibly.
