Role Description The Quality Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Rajkot, responsible for overseeing all quality assurance and quality control activities across forging, ring rolling, heat treatment, machining, and inspection processes. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems, procedures, and standards to ensure products meet customer specifications, regulatory requirements, and internal benchmarks.

The Quality

Manager will lead inspection teams, manage non-conformities, coordinate root cause analysis, and drive corrective and preventive actions. Daily tasks include monitoring production quality, reviewing documentation, conducting internal audits,



collaborating with production and engineering teams on process improvements, and preparing quality reports and metrics for management and customers. The role also includes supporting customer audits, managing supplier quality, training staff on quality practices, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement on the shop floor.

Qualifications

- Strong background in quality management, including implementation and maintenance of quality management systems (e.g., ISO standards) and development of procedures, work instructions, and quality plans.
- Experience with manufacturing quality in forging, machining, or similar heavy engineering environments, including familiarity with rolled rings, forged components, gear components, and precision‑machined parts.
- Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies such as root cause analysis, CAPA, SPC, FMEA, control plans, and problem-solving techniques for process and product improvement.
- Hands-on experience with inspection and testing methods, including dimensional inspection, NDT (if applicable), measurement systems, and use of gauges and metrology instruments.
- Ability to analyze production and quality data, generate reports, track KPIs, and present findings to management and customers in a transparent, structured manner.
- Strong collaboration skills to work closely with production, engineering, maintenance, and supply chain teams, and to coordinate with customers and suppliers on quality issues.
- Effective communication and documentation skills, with the ability to prepare audit reports, quality documentation
