Quality Engineer - Playwright Automation

Location: Hyderabad

Experience: 2.5 to 3.5 Years

Joining: Immediate to 15 Days

Shift: 11:00 AM to 08:00 PM

Work Model: 4 Days Work From Office, 1 Day Work From Home.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing of web applications.
- Validate REST APIs using tools such as Postman, Playwright API testing, or similar frameworks.
- Create, execute, and maintain comprehensive test cases and test plans based on business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams during sprint planning, refinement, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Identify, log, track, and verify software defects using defect management tools.
- Participate in requirement analysis and provide feedback to improve testability and product quality.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing practices.
- Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues,



and provide clear test reports.
- Contribute to process improvements and automation best practices.

Required Skills

- 2 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
- Robust hands-on experience with Playwright for UI automation.
- Experience in API testing using Postman, Playwright, REST Assured, or similar tools.
- Good understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP methods, and response validation.
- Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript for Playwright automation.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of test case design techniques and defect lifecycle.
- Experience with version control tools such as Git.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
