About The Role

We are seeking a highly engaged and motivated Senior Quality Engineer II to join our fast-paced, high-performing application development team at Marriott Tech Accelerator. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality Salesforce applications and integrations through comprehensive testing strategies, both manual and automated. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders within an Agile environment to validate functionality, performance, and data integrity across the Salesforce ecosystem.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex Salesforce projects, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and lead quality assurance efforts that directly impact the user experience and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a solid technical background in Salesforce testing, automation frameworks,



and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.

Qualifications

- 6+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Software Testing, or Test Automation.
- 4+ years of experience testing Salesforce platforms and applications, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, or custom Salesforce implementations.
- Strong hands-on experience designing and implementing automation frameworks using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, TOSCA (preferred), or equivalent testing technologies.
- Proven experience integrating automated testing into modern CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, including integrations, APIs, workflows, data models, security models, and release management processes.
- Extensive experience performing functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, user acceptance, and data validation testing.
- Strong familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Zephyr, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying quality risks and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

- Lead the design, development, and execution of comprehensive testing strategies for Salesforce applications, integrations, and platform enhancements.
- Architect, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, TOSCA, or equivalent technologies.
- Translate complex business and technical requirements into effective manual and automated test scenarios.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and high-quality releases.




- Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, end-to-end, user acceptance, and data validation testing across multiple Salesforce environments.
- Validate Salesforce integrations with internal and external systems, ensuring data integrity and system reliability.
- Analyze test results, identify trends, manage defect triage activities, and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve issues efficiently.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level quality engineers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Champion QA best practices, standards, and process improvements across teams and projects.
- Participate actively in sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, release planning, and production readiness activities.
- Assess potential quality risks and communicate recommendations proactively to stakeholders and leadership teams.
